ABOUT PDF FILES

All of the forms, lease and rental agreements, disclosures, checklists, letters, etc., available at Landlord.com's e-Forms Center are in Portable Document Format, commonly called "PDF." To view or print these files you need to have Adobe's Acrobat Reader software, which is FREE, installed on your computer.  It is extremely easy to use and millions of people already use it.  If you are a first time user or just want to refresh your knowledge of how Acrobat Reader works, click here for Adobe's Mini-Reader (PDF) guide.

If you don't yet have Acrobat Reader installed on your computer, it's easy to download and use. Follow these steps to download and install your free copy.

EASY DOWNLOAD

To download Acrobat Reader software, first click on the Adobe Acrobat Reader icon below.  We supply one of these icons wherever PDF files located.

Once you've clicked, you will be taken to Adobe's site where you can click on another icon and download the latest version of the Reader.

After the download, install the software by making a few mouse clicks according to the installation wizard that automatically pops up.

You're done.  Now all you have to do is open our PDF files as you would follow any other link.  You only have to install it once, not every time you want to open a PDF file.  In fact, in many cases, you won't even know you are opening a PDF file until it is on your screen.

Last Resort HELP

If you still have problems opening PDF files, sometimes it will be necessary to RE-INSTALL the Acrobat Reader software.

There are some documents that Adobe Acrobat Reader does NOT work with correctly when configured to work as a plug-in on secure Web sites. To turn OFF the plug-in option do the following:

  1. open Adobe Acrobat 4 (or higher)
  2. select "File" ... "Preferences" ... "General"
  3. Deselect the Web Browser Integration checkbox under "options"
  4. press the OK button
  5. close Adobe Acrobat 4 (or higher)
